Swan lake homicide suspects in court

MONTICELLO  — Two Walden residents who were accused of a double homicide in Swan Lake earlier this year were back in Sullivan County Court on Tuesday. In two separate court hearings before Judge Jim Farrell, both Chasity Cutway, 37, and David Host, 32, pleaded not guilty to all counts. It is alleged that on the night of January 13, Host and Cutway stabbed Glenn Travis and his son Derek to death at their Murphy Road residence in Swan Lake. According to a grand jury indictment report, Both Cutway and Host are charged with multiple counts of murder in the first degree and second degree, as well as multiple counts of burglary in the first and second degree and conspiracy in the second degree. Cutway is being represented by Attorney Glenn Kroll and Host is represent by Tim L Havas of the Sullivan Legal Aid Bureau. Judge Farrell approved an order of protection for a third surviving victim. Both Cutway and Host are at the Sullivan County Jail and are expected to appear back in Court on September 15.
