Just want to compliment you especially on the wonderful insert published last Friday about the much-loved Callicoon Hospital… loved seeing the photo of the original hospital where I was born in 1941.

I thought Marie Zalesky told me that her apartment (before she went to Roscoe) was in that building. Marie was such a wonderful woman… she knew my father and his sister from when they were very young.

I also remember fund raising with Jean McCoach probably in 1965 or 1966 standing at Fosterdale Corners with buckets on camp visiting week-ends. We then went out soliciting pledges.

My great Aunt Lil – Lillian Lowe – who married Jack Garry and lived in Hortonville, once dated Grover Hermann.

Such special remembrances of wonderful times… just wanted to share some old trivia!
