To the editor:

So the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, (a 501 -C- Non Profit organization), has applied for an adult-use retail cannabis dispensary at 200 Hurd Road in Bethel? The application is a notice to the town pending approval by the state of NY.

The NY State licensure requirements for a cannabis dispensary does not allow consumption on the premises. Good luck enforcing that! 

Even though cannabis consumption is legally permitted now in NY, everyone toking up at the concert may need to have a proof of purchase from the dispensary. Hopefully, Bethel Woods proprietary cannabis will not be managed by Ticketron for a small? surcharge. Or they could just throw in some chewable gummies with the ticket price and call it target marketing.
