Born 5/6/1940, passed away on 12/20/2023 at the Roscoe Nursing Home. She was 83 years old. She was a long time resident of Jeffersonville, NY.

Ardith is predeceased by her husband Charles Gorr and daughter Marjorie Kowal, she was predeceased by three brothers Donald, Norman, and William Niemann. She is survived by her son Donald Gorr; Grandchildren Joseph Rivera, Cristel Morency, Michael Rivera, Samantha Fitch, Erin Gorr Bennett Metzger, Kennedy De Meis and Tucker DeMeis; Along with 17 great-grandchildren, several siblings: Bob, Edith, Marge, Lillian and Darlene, dozens of nephews and nieces. 

Ardith was full of spunk, vigor and vitality.

She would often say, “Age is nothing but a number.”

Ardith was a social butterfly who thrived at gatherings. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held on January 6th, 2024 at Stewart Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, NY from 1-4 pm and a gathering following at the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville NY from 4-7pm.
