Herman W. Lamoreox of Swan Lake, NY, a retired maintenance foreman at the Concord Resort, Kiamesha Lake, NY, and a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 89.

The son of the late Francis and Mary Holbart Lamoreox, he was born August 24, 1932 in Deposit, NY.

Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Wohlrab and her companion Tom of Wallkill, NY, June Hardenbergh of VA, Mary Hyzer and her husband Fred of Livingston Manor, NY, and Kelli Hessinger and her husband James of Bethel, NY; his son, Steven Lamoreox and his wife Sandra of Fallsburg, NY, one brother, Arnold Davis and his wife Sharon of MO; eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Lamoreox; one son, Brian Lamoreox; one sister, Arvilla Knapp; and one brother, Gerald Davis.

Visitation was Monday, November 15, 2021 from 9 to 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services were held at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Joseph LeConey officiated.

Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
