Milton H. LaBar (Milt) of Leesburg, Florida passed away on August 10, 2020. He was born in Callicoon, New York on March 8, 1942 to the late Milton J. and Minnie A. Campbell LaBar. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean, and his nine siblings - Alice Scott (Pennsylvania), Jenett Abbott (Pennsylvania), Eugene LaBar (Pennsylvania), Louis LaBar (Pennsylvania), James LaBar (Pennsylvania), David LaBar (Idaho), George LaBar (Pennsylvania), Josephine LaBar (Rhode Island), and Ann Russek (Pennsylvania).

Milt attended Damascus High School and joined the U.S. Marine Corps serving from 1959-1963. While in the Marine Corps he worked as a top secret communication specialist and spent time in Cuba during the Bay of Pigs and Vietnam as a Force Recon. In the years following his military service Milt enjoyed a career as a financial analyst. He and his wife lived in various states including Connecticut, South Carolina, and Illinois, finally retiring to Florida where they have lived for the last 18 years. He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.

No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your church or favorite charity.
