Richard A. Meyerer, Sr., a former chef, handyman and friend to many, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was 44.

The son of James J. Meyerer and the late Roxane L. Miller Dworetsky, he was born October 22, 1976. For those who knew him, he enjoyed doing anything he could to make sure those around him were happy and taken care of. While he was most known for his contagious laugh and exceptional cooking, he was able to finally follow another one of his dreams and begin a life of carpentry.

Richard is survived by his children, Courtney Meyerer; Richard Meyerer, Jr. and Endya R. Alvarez; his partner, Shannon M. Pascoe; his sister, Christina Strong and her husband Billy; his father, James J. Meyerer; his grandmothers, Kay Miller and Joy Ackerley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
