Robert R. Dubas of Grahamsville, NY, a retired Union carpenter and a long-time area resident, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with his family at his side at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  He was 83.

The son of the late Jack Andrew and Grace Shelton Dubas, he was born September 17, 1937 in Queens, NY.

Robert had worked for over 50 years and retired from the Carpenter’s Union #45 in New York City.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.

He leaves behind his wife, Josephine “Josie” Dubas, of 62 years; his sons, Robert Dubas and his wife Debbie; Ronnie Dubas and his wife Terry; his favorite daughter, Christine Cully; and his granddaughter, Anita Grace Dubas.

He was predeceased by one son, Vincent John Dubas.

He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 9 to 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.  Funeral services will begin at 11 AM in the funeral home.  Father Edward Bader will officiate.
