Sandra “Sandy” Lynne Schumacher, a native of Sullivan County and longtime resident of Hawley, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2022, in Marietta, Georgia. She was 75.

The daughter of the late William and Brenda (Barre) Campbell, she was born on October 18, 1947, in Callicoon, New York.

Sandy loved to garden and would make a beautiful oasis out of even the most difficult plots of land at the various homes she lived in across the country. She was also an ardent lover of animals, and there were many rescue dogs and cats that came home with her to become beloved family pets.

She is survived by her husband, William Schumacher; her daughter, Tammy Larsen, of Powder Springs, GA; her son, Michael Packer, and his companion, Nicole Malloy, of Waymart, PA; her grandson, Nathaniel Packer and her granddaughters, Abigail and Sarah Larsen. She was predeceased by her brother, William Campbell, Jr.

A private ceremony of remembrance will be held by her children in the spring.
