We are marching right along with the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge as we start the third month of the year. Monticello has increased their lead over Kauneonga Lake from last week as they crossed the 90 point threshold. Kauneonga Lake is still in second with 78 points and Rock Hill continues to round out the top-3 with 64 points.

Lumberland Fire Department held a lecture on the phenomenon of nature’s foods including learning how to make smoothies to satisfy sweet cravings without use of sugar. In addition, members focused on diabetic health with the help of a local holistic nutritionist. Thank you to the Lumberland Town Supervisor for donating all ingredients.
